Assault on Residents at B S Medical College Hospital, Bankura, West Bengal
- One first year PGT, Paediatrics and Intern assaulted by mob a while ago.
A brought dead baby was brought to ER, developed rigor mortis. On death declaration the relatives took the baby away without agreeing to do necessary procedures.
After about one and a half hours, some mob arrived and demanded why DC was not given etc and manhandled residents.
Most of the residents are there in protest.
As reported, 3 persons have been taken to custody.

There is no fear in public. They know that they can form mobs, go to the hospital, Assault doctors and come back without any fear of any long term legal action on them.

WORST PART:
The worst part is that no NGO, civil organizations, celebrities (actors, sportsmen or politicians) or common public ever protest against the assault on doctors.
