Doctor assaulted in Egra, West Bengal

West Bengal has become the most unsafe place for practice. Another assault on a doctor in West Bengal.

A respected senior EMO, aged 57 years, Dr Dhritiman Sardar, manhandled at 6 pm, today at Egra SSH

Brought dead baby, 2 years old came to ER, case of drowning. Relatives were requested to go for PM exam as per legal procedures.

Following this the doctor was severly assaulted.

THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY IN AND AROUND EGRA ARE PLANNING TO GO ON PROTEST CLOSURE OF ALL NON ESSENTIAL SERVICES BARRING EMERGENCY AND IPD SERVICES. OPD AND ALL PRIVATE CLINICS WILL REMAIN CLOSED.
