To whom it may concern,

I arrived today Wed April 29, 2026 at 1:45PM for a 2:00PM appointment to meet with the Abbotsford BC Branch #15 Legion’s President and Service Officer Mr Ross Craddock. Mr Craddock indicated that he had read my online petition on Change.org  entitled: ‘PM Mark Carney/VAC’s Min. Jill McKnight Target Severely Injured Canadian Veteran.’; and my other social media- I assume referring to my account on ‘X’. He seemed extremely angry at me. When we went into his office he explained that when I last corresponded with him via email on June 21, 2023 there was nothing either his Legion- Abbotsford Branch #15, the Legions BC/Yukon Command, or Legions Dominion Command could do for me and therefore didn’t bother to respond to my email at the time. He went onto say that presently the Legion is only willing to allow me to apply for a “rent discount” through their ‘Veteran Homelessness Program[the “Program] Program Application' should I ultimately be able find available accommodations somewhere in the Lower Mainland. No other assistance will be provide by any level of the largely state funded Royal Canadian Legion according to Mr Craddock! Interesting, as I did some research and I do indeed appear to fully qualify for all services I requested according to the Legion’s very own online documentation. I’ve been deliberately lied to by Mr Craddock, and in writing via an email written on April 21, 2026 by the Legions BC/Yukon Foundation Program Coordinator Maria Serna[Legion secretary turned Program Coordinator Ms Serna’s allegations are truly shocking, reprehensible, and absolutely false! My written request for an apology from Ms Serna has been ignored to date.] Apparently state sponsored and condoned hate, anger, open discrimination, misinformation, disinformation, out right lies both to me and about me, both verbally and in writing now fuel the Royal Canadian Legion business/charitable activities with the full knowledge and support of their financial benefactors?

When I asked if there would be any Emergency Financial Assistance[Food, emergency shelter or assistance, prescription medications, medical appliances and equipment, clothing etc.] that he as the President and Service Officer for Abbotsford's Legion Branch #15 was willing or able to provide to me today he angrily said “No”. I stated that a I had not eaten for over two and a half weeks. That my vehicle was now running on vapours as a result of being asked to drive across town to meet with him today. He simply laughed! I asked if there was any funding ie. Emergency Fund[Poppy Trust Fund] or a Benevolent Fund for urgent, basic, financial relief for a qualifying local Canadian Forces Veterans like myself begging and pleading for desperately needed help. He stated once again angrily “No”. He indicated that I would not be allowed to apply for the Legion Veterans Village in Surrey BC or the Legion Veterans Village Research Foundation as a qualifying homeless, sick, disabled, dying-being deliberately starved to death Canadian Forces Veteran injured in the line of duty repeatedly in order to receive up to one year of largely tax payer funded Legion run 'Legion Veterans Village' housing, onsite medical treatment, counselling, employment assistance, trauma care, assistance with obtaining medical devices, support for Veterans with disabilities, peer support, etc.

I am aware that each individual Legion Branch, like Branch #15 has the independent authority to provide immediate, same day emergency funding for up to $350.00 dollars from the Poppy Trust Fund for local CF Veterans in distress who can prove an emergency need-which I most certainly can/and was willing and prepared to demonstrate to Mr Craddock today with all of the requested documentation. I had/have everything in detailed order to support my claims on a thumb drive for immediate processing and assistance! Mr Craddock wasn’t interested! Also, I’m aware that additional written requests for emergency funding may be forwarded to both Legion BC/Yukon Command and Legion Dominion Command for an addition emergency grant[s] of up to $1500.00. Apparently, just not for qualifying, homeless, sick, dying CF Veterans in immediate and desperate need who are being targeted by the regime and it’s well compensated proxies? Shame on all of you for not lifting a finger to help me.

Sincerely,
Jeff Robinson

PS. Someone brought freshly baked pastries into the Legion for fellow Branch #15  members as I waited patiently for Mr Craddock. Neither he nor his Legion associate 1st Vice President & Poppy Chairperson Kelly Watson - offered me any after informing them that I hadn’t eaten in over two and a half weeks. That’s truly barbaric, and pure evil in my opinion!
