One of many examples of what governments are doing in response to my filing legitimate written grievances with their Officers of Parliament. In this case, the Office of the Information and Protection of Privacy Commissioner for BC. The then Chief Legal Officer for the scandal plagued BCEHS/PHSA Sandra R. MacKay funnelled over $44000.00 in secret payments to a private Vancouver law firm. She outsourced her non-specialized work. She got paid, her friend got paid. A lengthy paper trail leading to Premier John Horgan, Attorney General David Eby, and Solicitor General Mike Farnworth. Aside from preventing disclosure in response to my Privacy Request; and allegedly attacking my reputation, integrity, and good name I'm not sure exactly what 'work' was done to justify the exorbitant cost to the tax payer. The vast majority of her financial disclosure has been heavily censored. There never was a hearing or court date to attend. The OIPC, BC Premier, and the Premier's associates have remained suspiciously silent. The BC Auditor General wasn't interested in the questionable expenditures. I was not provided similar access to subsidized legal representation. Why all the secrecy? Not exactly a fair and level playing field.
