Proposal for amendments to various Animal Protection Laws will be put forward next month in Korea. These suggested amendments are the fruit of hard work by the Korean activists and a very important stepping stone towards bringing an end to the dog-meat trade in the future. These amendments will not include requests for the dog-meat trade to be ended, as any suggestion of that would mean that all the amendments would simply be rejected and therefore nothing would be achieved.
