Dear Judy,

Thank you again for your email and the material attached. I've read the article and am sorry that you have had such an unpleasant encounter with PCC wardens.

We currently don't have a specific policy regarding the current Public Spaces Protection Order, but we strongly believe that Plymothians should get more say in how our city is run, and this includes how we look after our green spaces. Plymouth Greens would get local communities involved to identify how many people object to the current PSPO and how many are for it with the aim to find a compromise all users of our green spaces can live with. Elected Green councillors are able to scrutinise decisions and ask officers for information regarding the effectiveness of the current order in reducing dog fouling. So I can't promise you we'd fight to revoke it, but there is certainly a case for reviewing it. Moreover, Green councillors are not told by their party how to vote and what to say, so are free to speak up for their residents and vote in their interests.

Our Green candidates for Plymstock are Piers Driver for Dunstone ward and James Dyson for Radford.

Many thanks,
Frank Hartkopf
