Dear Friends,
I am writing to offer our sincere THANKS for supporting our online petition to have permanent memorials erected in Perth and the Pilbara to honour the thousands we have lost to asbestos-related diseases.
As a one-off, I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know some of the ways we are currently supporting members and their families:
- EMAIL NEWSLETTER - Click here to sign up for our monthly email newsletter. We will be providing updates on this petition and how to add your relatives' names to the memorial sculptures and how to submit photos for our annual memorial photo presentation.
- REGISTER YOUR ASBESTOS EXPOSURE - If you’re worried about having been exposed to asbestos at some point in your life, click here to register your details with us so we can keep them on file.
- ECUMENICAL SERVICE LIVE-STREAM - Our 26th annual Ecumenical Memorial Service is being held in Perth on Friday 26 November 2021 in remembrance of our passed members and friends. Interstate and overseas members can watch it online via our Facebook page. Click here to join our Facebook page and stay up to date.
- DONATIONS - Click here to contribute to our ADSA services and medical research
WA RESIDENTS ONLY:
- HEALTH CHECKS - Click here to book a health check with Dr Greg Deleuil
- ECUMENICAL SERVICE - Click here to RSVP to our annual Ecumenical Memorial Service. Our 26th annual Ecumenical Memorial Service will be held at 930am on Friday 26 November 2021 in remembrance of our passed members and friends. The Ecumenical Service will be held at the Redemptorist Monastery, 190 Vincent St, North Perth. Due to Covid capacity restrictions, places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
In addition to email newsletters, our other key communication outlets are:
- Official Website - For more detailed information about our services and asbestos-related diseases
- Facebook Page - For the latest news and media coverage
- YouTube Channel - For informational videos, plus historic and recent media coverage (including the full video of Paul Barry's brilliant 1988 Four Corners story, Blue Death)
Again, we thank you kindly for all your support.
Kind Regards,
Melita Markey (CEO) &
Robert Vojakovic AM JP (PRESIDENT)
