Now, we are planning to send the following request to the Tokyo Olympic Organizing Committee: "Please cease disposing of lunch boxes for volunteers (which is occurring even before their expiration date) as soon as possible, and instead distribute them to children's cafeterias, after refrigeration if necessary, and to students in struggling to support themselves due to pandemic-related job losses.”

We also emphasize that this food waste violates the mission of the Olympics to achieve SDGs. We would like to do this under a joint name, so if you agree with us, it would be greatly appreciated .
