Good News & Terrible News!

The good news is that, due to your support, we now have 3200+ signatures on our petition.

The terrible news is that air quality levels in Kolkata have reached disturbingly new lows. The air quality index hasn't gone under 200 since Diwali. I was too depressed about the air quality to write an update about Diwali, and what it did to the air quality.

This is our time to act, ladies and gentlemen. It's now or never! Last year, almost 12.4 lakh people died prematurely due to terrible air quality. I reckon that this year the numbers will be higher.

Kolkata has a new Mayor — Honbl. Firhad Hakim. I will be writing to him informing him about the grave consequences of increasingly worsening air quality.
