Educators say acquiring language skills are the key to becoming global citizens!

Yet Budget cuts threaten our very successful German program that created incredible global citizens with tremendous success stories. As this group of parents and students alike advocate heavily against the decision to cut the German program from RHS, we feel our voices and concerns should be heard and utilized more as a partnership, working together to improve quality education. Especially by keeping in min the overwhelming success of our German program in particular! We at this point have argued plentiful that our children have made a commitment to German and would like to see that through. We feel that if some compromises could be made in combining German levels, budgets could eventually improve. Attached are more arguments against ANY cuts in foreign language programs offered and pointing out once more languages should be learned earlier.
