Hi petition supporters, 

Just letting you know that the August 12, yesterday's city council meeting, in which I was going to address this petition was cancelled due to lack of quorum. I had spoken to the city clerk on Monday about addressing the council on Tuesday, but she did not mention anything about the meeting being cancelled until 2 hrs prior. 

If you are able to attend the next city council meeting on Aug. 26, to support this cause, stay updated by checking the city calendar the day of their meetings. I will address this petition then, but please note I have already emailed this petition with other material to the city yesterday.
