This is great but not enough!

The importance of a behavioral/mental health counselors and therapists having a licensure in his/her field of study is the ability to provide service to all without limitations. There are great counselors or therapists that are beneficial when providing service, yet cannot provide service in any of the 50 states or in any federal or state full time job position WITHOUT a license.

With everything that is happening, Covid-19 restrictions and isolation, Insurrection attack on the Capitol, increase in gun violence, increase in racial and political hate, counselors/therapist are an necessary resource!

TRAUMA is everywhere we turn! We need to keep sharing this petition in hopes of allowing more resources for behavioral and mental health services!
