I enjoy baking and have to adhere to the measurements in the recipe to have a success. Our son, Andrew, also loves to bake. His specialities are chocolate chip cookies and almond point dessert. He bakes when he comes home on hospital passes.

1 cup of greetings, 1/2 cup of smiles, 1/2 cup of love, 1 tsp. empathy, and 2 cups kindness. Cream greetings and smiles. Add love, empathy, and kindness. Enjoy!
Our son was homeless on the streets of Toronto. Attempting to get our son admitted to a hospital was a VICIOUS CIRCLE. Going to the Court House and appearing before a Justice of the Peace several times was a TALL ORDER but we succeeded.
It is now my mission to MOVE THE NEEDLE on the restrictive P.E.I. Community Treatment Order. The P.E.I. CTO is not UP TO STANDARD. In fact, it is a CUT BELOW the New Brunswick, best in Canada CTO, as it is very flexible and more mentally ill patients will qualify.
I am putting A HUNDRED AND TEN PERCENT effort into getting a CTO amendment in the 2024 spring session.My RULE OF THUMB is to work hard and never give up! I send daily Facebook posts to all the politicians and media. It is difficult to GAUGE the reaction of the P.C. Party, but I hope they will seriously WEIGH IN THE BALANCE the risks and benefits of the CTO amendment.
A community treatment order ensures that a mentally ill person stays on their medication and provides them with a healthy life in the community. P.E.I. now has a CTO, but it is so restrictive that Andrew and many others will not qualify.

The present CTO is like giving a battery operated truck to a child without the battery. And saying, "The truck is good enough for now, I will give you the battery to operate it after "24" months." The P.E.I. CTO is as useless as this!
In my opinion, I do not believe that the PC Party Ministers and MLAs realized the negative impact the restrictive CTO would have on Islanders, like Andrew and others. I believe in my heart they will amend the CTO in the 2024 Spring Session, because it is the RIGHT THING TO DO!
DO YOU THINK THE PC PARTY WILL DO THE RIGHT THING?
