Sadly, we have been defeated, but refuse to give up! After speaking to the Commissioners FOUR TIMES now, the Davidson County, NC Commissioners have refused to even bring the Tethering Issue to the Agenda for voting! They appointed some Committee, so they can do nothing, without appearing to do nothing! They don't need a Committee to tell them what is right, and what is WRONG. A neighboring County, Randolph, passed it immediately after being approached, as well as Asheboro City. The decision has resulted in thousands and thousands of dogs, no longer suffering at the end of a chain. Where I once had to shield my eyes from seeing the suffering, I can no longer hardly even find a single chained dog, and we aren't even to the FINING PHASE YET in Randolph County! People are complying and it is working beautifully! A NO BRAINER! We are stymied in Davidson County, NC, and hoping for a miracle.
