What do most City & County Leaders care about? PUBLIC SAFETY & FINANCE, and NOT the animals! I have created a video, to show the Commissioners of Davidson County, NC, how dog chaining is dangerous for my profession. I am a Realtor, and I often have to put a sign in the ground, or take one up, right next to a chained dog. Besides the fact that chaining a dog is one of the most HORRIFIC forms of Animal Abuse, it also poses a danger to the community & citizens. Most City/County Leaders don't care a THING about the animals! All they care about is their BOTTOM LINE. So SHOW THEM. Show them how a chained dog is more dangerous than a fenced one! It adversely affects property value, because who the heck wants to buy a property next to a chained dog and look at the dog suffering every day? I am trying to think of everything I can to convince them to PASS a TETHERING BILL. Davidson County is the only County out of FOUR COUNTIES that the City of High Point touches, that HAS NOT passed a Tethering Bill! Sad! It is HIGH TIME. Write your emails & letters NOW to the Davidson County, NC Commissioners! Come show your support on the AUGUST 9 MEETING AT 7pm at the Davidson County Goverment Building, 3rd Floor, 903 N. Greensboro St., Lexington, NC! Thank you for your support! xoxo Donna
