Due to circumstances, I have moved away from the Mt Sophia area and do not go there any more. I believe the government has built a covered easier walk way near Nomo and Cathay. That is a favourable conclusion. I have been lobbying the govt since the building 8@sophia was built over the old easement walkways leading to Orchard; and the Cathay developers removed the entries from Mt Sophia to Orchard. Since then Cathay mall has gone bust due to poor attendance. It was very shortsighted of the Cathay developers to block off the entrance to the hundreds of first rate customers from Mt Sophia area. And the 8@sophia has its own problems over the entrance to Orchard Road when another condo blocked off the entry point. Karma is real.

Anyway, I hope that the new walkway will be kept open to residents. I've done my duty.
