Due to circumstances, I have moved away from the Mt Sophia area. I believe the government has built a covered easier walk way near Nomo and Cathay. And so that's a favourable conclusion. I have been lobbying the govt since the building 8@sophia was built over the easement walkways leading to Orchard and the Cathay development removed its entrances from Mt Sophia. Since then Cathay mall has gone bust due to poor attendance. It was very shortsighted of the Cathay developers to block off the entrance to the hundreds of possible customers from Mt Sophia area. And the 8@sophia has its own problems over the entrance to Orchard Road. Karma is real.

Anyway, I hope that the new walkway will be kept open to residents. I've done my duty.
