Saying no to school closures isn’t just for Columbian, it’s for all small schools where minorities are the majority. If you have not shared this information with the communities of the other schools facing closure, please do so. 

This isn’t just a Columbian fight! The vote by the board on November 17th will determine if all schools close or if all will remain open. PALMER, MATH SCIENCE LEADERSHIP ACADEMY, SCHMITT, EAGLETON, FAIRVIEW, COLFAX, DENVER DISCOVERY, WHITTIER K-8, and INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY OF DENVER AT HARRINGTON, we’re fighting for you as well! We ask that you join us in the fight! Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much!  Please keep the momentum going and know we’re not giving up! We will continue to fight for all small schools with BIG hearts! 

Please continue to send your emails to the board members asking them to tell Dr. Marrero NO to the school closures.
