Congratulations to everyone who supported this petition. A huge thanks also to Lord Mayor Clover Moore, Deputy Lord Mayor Jess Scully and the Councillors at the City of Sydney for passing the motion to approve the AIDS memorial early last year. 

There was a delay in the project due to Covid, however it is well on track and work will start soon.

Thanks to you, we will have a wonderful place of remembrance, and a beautiful space in Green Park to pay tribute to those lost. It will also be a special place for all of us to remember loved ones.
