Man Accused of Taking Unlawful Photos - News 4
It’s with a heavy heart that I share this update. My offender was not placed on the sex offender registry. The DA did not recommend it, and the Judge did not order it, even though the law allows it. I am disappointed by the Judge’s decision and burdened for anyone who comes near my offender. Just like I was, they will be blissfully unaware they are near a sexual predator.
However, this decision will not deter my efforts to advocate that every person that commits this crime be placed on the registry. I still firmly believe that anyone who secretly films up women’s dresses and places recording devices in bathrooms belongs on the sex offender registry. Especially those who use children to help them commit these acts. I am currently working with lawmakers to require sex offender registry for these offenses instead of leaving it discretionary.
How You Can Help:
1.) Contact your representatives to let them know you care about this issue. This can make a difference. Tennessee residents can find their representatives’ contact information here.
2.) Contact Williamson County Judges and the Williamson County DA and ask them to use their existing discretion to place unlawful photography offenders on the registry to protect the public.

3.) Please pray for these efforts and any efforts that deter sexual predators from violating unsuspecting people.
Again, thank you for your support! I will keep you updated on any changes we are able to make to the law.
