Thank you all again so much for supporting me! The sentencing hearing for my offender is at 9am on Monday, 9/11 at the Williamson County Courthouse in downtown Franklin. If anyone is available to come, I’d so appreciate the support! We will be in Judge Johnson’s courtroom upstairs. Please come find me if you are able to come - I would like to meet you and thank you in person!

Unfortunately, the DA has not incorporated my sentencing recommendations, and will not be asking the Judge to place my offender on the registry nor asking that he not have access to any cameras. Both were my top 2 sentencing recommendations. I still cannot comprehend how it’s in the public’s best interest to not register a known sexual predator or at least take away all his tools to violate unsuspecting people. 

The Judge still has the opportunity to require he be placed on the sex offender registry, so I’m praying she will do the right thing and make decisions that help protect and inform the community. This experience has been humiliating and degrading, but the outpouring of support from you all has been a true blessing! 

Even after this hearing, I plan to do whatever I can to make things better for those who come after me. I don’t ever want anyone else to have this same experience. I also plan to work with legislators to strengthen unlawful photography laws and laws that deter criminals from involving children in their crimes.
