The issue

Max is not just a dog; he is my companion, my best friend, and my loyal friend. He has been a constant source of love and comfort in my life, offering unwavering support and companionship in times of joy and hardship.

Max has never posed a danger to anyone. He is well-trained, loving, and adored by everyone who meets him. Despite the unfortunate circumstances, Max deserves a second chance to continue his life with those who love him deeply.

Studies have shown that dogs contribute significantly to human mental health and well-being, fostering connections and improving our quality of life. Denying Max the right to live is not only unfair to him but disregards the bond that millions of Australians share with their pets.

I propose that Max undergoes a behavioral assessment and, if needed, attend training sessions to ensure complete compliance with local laws and standards. By implementing such measures, Max’s life can be spared, and he can continue to bring joy and companionship to those around him.

Let's unite as a community in Canberra ACT to urge the authorities to reconsider Max's situation. Together, we can advocate for a more compassionate approach that allows beloved pets to stay with their families who cherish them immensely.

Please sign this petition to give Max the chance he deserves to live a joyful life with his family. Your support can make all the difference.
