I'm reaching out to you with a broken heart and a deep sense of urgency. My beloved dog, who means the world to me, is currently being held in police kennels. To me, he's not just a pet; he's like a baby. Losing his presence in my home feels like a part of my soul is missing. He's more than a companion; he's family.

The situation began when we left him in the care of someone and somthing happened to trigger him, its completely out of character,  i got bruno nearly 3 years back and hes not just a dog, hes my saviour,  i was suffering with depression and felt id never have worth or a reason, then came bruno! And as he walked into my life with one floppy ear and his tounge waving around  i knew id found my reason, i mean me and him even share a birthday! I know somthing isnt right with whats being said that happend and i have solicitors involed and i know bruno will fly throw the behaviour assessment,  im begging everyone to help bring notice to this matter so bruno isnt forgotten about and left for any longer that is needed as i know hes gonna be as lost and confused as i am as weve not spent a night apart since i got him, please take 2 seconds out of your time to help me with bringing bruno back. Every day without him is like enduring an unbearable void. I know he must be feeling confused, scared, and alone, away from the love and care that he knows. It tears me apart to think of him in those conditions when he should be with his family.

For those who may not understand just how vital companionship with a pet can be, let me share this: Studies show that animals significantly reduce stress, anxiety, and loneliness, and encourage exercise and playfulness. For many people, like myself, pets are a source of unconditional love and joy. When I see his wagging tail, my problems seem to melt away. Now, I'm faced with the silence and emptiness of a home without him.

The issues surrounding pets being held in police custody are not just personal; they're systemic.
