Hi All,

The petition is still very relevant and I am just wanting to thank you again for the on-going support you have provided me throughout, as well as the care to advise your stories, and your donations to get the petition seen by many more.

As you may be able to imagine, It has been a long, hard, mentally challenging and traumatic time throughout for me.

I have been assessed by mental health professionals and they have deemed me unable to work due to my shattered mental capacity, its hard sometimes to just sit here - believing i could go back to work and try again; although it is short lived every time that feeling or thought process- because of a trigger, a reminder, or the reality to my condition reminds me why it is such a risk for me to even go back to my actual career of a corporate frontline administrator, which I miss it so much, as well as some forms of the job I had as a taxi driver. At this time; professionals have advised me to just do what I can, but dont rush into thinking its okay if i was to go back to work; we have all tried that path and my emotions just are unbelievably fragile. 

If i thought before taking on this role and job that i was broken mentally, with this job as a way for me to get better from other realms in life that had me lost, and very sick beforehand - well within one year with them and the actions by 13cabs definately ensured I completely broke, especially at a time I was grieving the losses of two close people in my life, which was just not humane to conduct at the time, and such a great risk to my life for them to provide me no warning of the nature of this meeting, they blindsighted me into this room under absolutely false pretences of listening to my comcerns after many months of requesting such, to not care but to axe me, financially impacting me immediately as well, and than they allowed me in such a state to get behind the wheel of a car and drive away which nearly ended up in a very serious accident, i thankfully somehow was able to avoid.

When 13cabs and those responsible for their negligence upon me that day knew I had just lost people in my life close in my family, i was im grief as it was, and I had just attended a second funeral within two weeks of each other...  It is just inexcusable for any employer or host to do this to anyone, especially when the axing had no legal merit in the first place, based on detailed regulations by point2point that 13Cabs wish to change and distort at anytime and lie to sole traders to make them believe 13cabs had a legal standing, when they never did. 

UPDATE: 

After 2 years and more of contacting members of parliament, councils, media news, radio, sole trader groups, fairwork, hunter workers association, unions, numberous law agencies, Icare, Transport NSW being Point2Point, Work Safe, NSW Health, and keeping the pressure on 13cabs all this time, with no actual care, support or response from anyone above to stand with me and speak up on this; just indicates how anyone, anyone of us can be mistreated and suffer such, as well as a community or many at risk; and there is no help, their is actually no door opening from any of them to genuinely listen, or take any type of action for anyone going through similiar, even if the community is at risk!

They simply do not care to know. However the news such as Nine, Seven, Ten and ABC, as well as some of their extended reporting programs like ACA and 7.30 will report on the most ridicoulous non news worthy stories you couldnt even believe you're seeing.

But Hold on, Their is a small light shining and some possibly good news to come in the near future, fortunately as well as hopefully.

There has been an improvement to get some type of answers, and to ensure the matter is heard somewhere with powers, and that is a case that has been lodged with Human Rights Commission NSW.

There is just a long delay; as Human Rights are very inundated with cases that havent been heard or dealt with and my case is awaiting a case officer to start proceedings when my case comes up in turn.

This was lodged late due to my mental state, and some incorrect advice given earlier on - although i contacted Human Rights again and put my case forward I believe mid last year; and a recent update from them indicates I may have my case heard by the end of the year.

I am not only taking 13Cabs Newcastle and 13Cabs Head Office in Victoria to this commission, A2B Australia whom are the owners of 13Cabs will also be involved and will be answering to their part in allowing this to be possible, and why they have not contacted me at any stage or offered an actual investigation. 

I cant thank you enough, truly - you have all kept me strong as possibly can, and also determined to get justice and change for those who do not get heard as a consumer who have been abused, as well as other drivers who have been mistreated, and the general public who were lied too during Covid placing their health and safety at severe risk, as well as the conduct and mistreatment towards myself for attempting to question their integrity, professionalism and their overall business conduct. 

I hope to bring a successful update in the near future.
