Since The Incredibles 3 won’t be getting directed by Brad Bird, he might as well not be the one to voice Edna Mode, who he’s is a female character voiced by a male. Only time previous where she had not been voiced by Brad Bird was in The Incredibles playset in Disney Infinity, which I guess comes from him not being full time with Pixar. Instead Edna Mode should be voiced by Peter Sohn, who is directing The Incredibles 3 whilst Brad Bird had been working on Ray Gunn at Skydance Animation whilst under John Lasseter’s leadership over there after his departure from Disney in 2019. Of course Peter Sohn has a history with voicing Pixar characters, especially those that had him be a studio member in the main cast of a few films, and boy he is sure to especially voice someone in something he’s also the director of.
