Statement: Over a year ago, SEGA & CFM ended the Project Diva franchise. The reason why SEGA & CFM had to is that they weren't innovating, they had financial issues with the game, Project Sekai took over & PJSK gained more profit. It unfortunately was getting too expensive to produce. Project Diva is a very iconic game & we can't let something that is extremely iconic in the Vocaloid fandom disappear. A ton of people have known about Project Diva, but why would SEGA end the franchise since Project Diva was the icon. Also, there were lots of people that were waiting for Project Diva updates or a new Project Diva game. Unfortunately, they won't be able to see a new game & a new update all because the Project Diva franchise vanished. Since there were no new updates, it had caused people to look for Project Diva mods. This is extremely saddening to Project Diva lovers, especially the newer fans. SEGA & CFM decided to shift their focus on Project Sekai.

  What is Project Diva: Project Diva is a Vocaloid based rhythm game series that was developed by SEGA & CFM. These games contain 100+ songs sung by Vocaloids & you get to change the module for whichever character you choose to use in the song you're playing. It became a popular franchise in the 2010's & was on devices ranging from Playstation Devices to Microsoft Windows. Sega even had an arcade machine for Project Diva, called "Project Diva Arcade". A couple examples of Project Diva games include Project Diva Future Tone, Project Diva Megamix, & Project Diva X. The Characters are Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, Meiko, & Kaito. There are four extra characters including Kasane Teto, Akita Neru, Yowane Haku, & Sakine Meiko.

  Solutions on what SEGA & CFM should have done, instead of ending the Project Diva franchise:

• Do some cost-effective collaborations to advertise Project Diva so that more people would want to buy the game & to sell Project Diva collaboration merch for people who are fans of the game.
• Incorporate more recent songs in Project Diva & Incorporate newer modules that target younger audiences & that also keep up with current trends (regardless if mods exist for Project Diva).
• Have companies give SEGA & CFM some ideas on how they can innovate Project Diva.
• Bring back “Edit Mode”, since “edit mode” was one of the key parts to Project Diva & the removal of this feature lead to the franchise coming to an end.

If this petition becomes successful & SEGA/CFM brings back the Project Diva franchise, we would be seeing more updates in Project Diva games, more songs to play, more collaborations, more modules. maybe more characters, & even some bug fixes. Hopefully, we will try to bring this nostalgic game back ASAP.
