Vote NO to George Ben Park Redevelopment Before October 26th
The City of Toronto has released four proposed designs for the redevelopment of George Ben Park, and residents have until Monday, October 26 at 11:59 PM to provide feedback.
This is an important opportunity for our community to be heard, so the more responses we provide, the better the outcome.
As outlined in our petition, our concerns include the loss of green space, increased noise, neighbourhood safety, and the potential for additional disruptive activity in the park.
The survey also includes a fifth option, "None of these options reflects my preference. Please explain why below:" where residents can explain their concerns in their own words.
If you feel you must select one of the design options, Option 4 and Option 3 appear to preserve more green space than the other proposed designs.
Please take a few minutes to review the plans and share your views. The survey also asks for your postal code, as more weight will likely be given to the postal codes in the immediate area (M6J, M6G, M6H, M5V). Help the City understand responses are coming from concerned residents and users of the park.
