After 10 years Futurama has finally had another revival, this time being for the Streaming Service Hulu, and whilst under Disney's ownership after they acquired all things 20th Century Fox. 10 episodes of season 8 are airing right now with the last of which to air by the end of September, whilst another 10 will air sometime next year. I certainly hope that the revival on Hulu won't air one season altogether, it should air atleast one more, if lucky it could even let the show reach 200 episodes. By airing more then one season on Hulu, it would allow Matt Groening and David X Cohen to accomplish as many story lines they'd been meaning to do for some time, not to mention allow a Futurama cameo in a potential sequel to the live action Rescue Rangers film where a character from it could mention what it's like to finally be back on the air, all to the point where we'd be able to see as many 31st century counterparts to moments from the 21st century and reveals as possible.

Overall I don't think Hulu should return Futurama to it's state of cancellation a 3rd time until all's ready to be wrapped up with The Simpsons and other shows of Matt Groenings that are still on the air, once a 3rd cancellation does come around it might even stay that way forever based on how the cast members have aged to the points of no longer being able to voice their characters. One thing we should remember either way is that with each season finale, it will most likely be made in a way to wrap things up in case there's no renewal, and that all the seasons on Hulu will have about 20 episodes total, whenever the fates get confirmed would be around a time before they air the 2nd half of the season. There are the quite possibilities right now on what sorts of episodes Futurama could have to offer, if it gets to the point of there being a feature length movie then I hope Hulu won't mind it being seen on the big screen as opposed to being one of their Streaming Service Originals like the series from season 8 onwards.
