NEW DEVELOPMENT!

Some good news for once! Your phone calls worked! The House of Representatives met this afternoon and brought HB 428 to the floor for a vote. I think they were getting tired of the phone calls and wanted to vote on it as quickly as possible! The bad amendments were removed and a new one added. The new one had only a few changes, but were ones that we can live with. So, next it will be heading to the Senate. Once there, we will need those phone calls again! I'll post another update when we know more about when it will go to the Senate floor. In the meantime, thank you so much for your support! Your voices were heard!
