10 Days: 22 Supporters

I found out abruptly on Friday that the effective advantage of my Over 60's Photocard, namely London train travel before 9.30, has already been disabled by TfL, when l was stopped at the barrier. So altho l'm over 60, have a functioning Disabled Freedom Pass, and have paid recently for the Over 60's Card, l am excluded from the benefits of the latter because of my Disabled status (as if to say, 'You can't be disabled and over 60, yet.' I'm told these advantages click in at 66, with the 'Older Person's Freedom Pass,' which, l noted in a recent news article, has not yet been supplied to Her Majesty the Queen - she was 'shown how to top up' a standard Oystercard, we are informed!).

I have now responded to advice to simplify the petition, removing the 'coterminously' jargon, and also simplifying the link, which is now 'https://www.change.org/FreedomPass

I have also been asked to share the petition with a basic explanation attached to the link, which seems reasonable. One disabled recipient asked why l needed the advantages my petition seeks, asking why l didn't pay out of disability benefits.
