Hello! I am a crossing guard for Gloucester City at Park and Market.

 This intersection is very dangerous and children have already been hit and injured as well as guards!!! The sun glare is blinding, (a child was killed because of sun glare  2 years ago going to school!!) The motorists at this intersection go well over the speed limit (25mph) and dont seem to care that i am there, let alone WHY i am there!!! 

 There is an off ramp for route 42 at this intersection and a stop sign on Market at Park St would be helpful for the safety of students and motorists as well as myself! I am risking my life at this crossing!. A crosswalk wouldn't hurt the cause either!!! It would give the motorists a heads up that children cross there as well as SLOW that traffic down!

One couple that lives at that corner said they have seen SO MANY accidents due to speeding  right there! This can be prevented GREATLY with a stop sign!!! 

Every day when I come to this intersection I come very close to being hit at some point during my shift! its scary! I am concerned for the students! Motorists should always be aware of pedestrians and should MOST DEFINITELY be aware of these children especially considering the times. 

 Please sign and help us get a stop sign to keep my students safe and so no more children get hurt/killed trying to get to school to get an education!

Something as simple as a stop sign could prevent future accidents, injuries or deaths!!!! 

Because that section of Market St is a county road, the local municipality can not put up the stop sign, it is now the responsibility of Camden County!!! Please sign!!!
