Plead for fair judgement for Troy Garcia, a dedicated community servant

The Issue

He is very much needed and I can't lose my only brother I have left

For my brother, Troy Garcia, who has emerged as a beacon of strength and compassion through immense tragedy. His commitment to our family and community is unmatched, and despite the adversities we've endured, including the sudden loss of our mother in October 2021 and our older brother in October 2022, Troy has continually risen above. Not only has he saved my life, but he's also been a key support for many in our community. His kindness and care extend beyond our family circle as he heads community efforts such as creating and distributing holiday cards at local nursing homes.

Troy’s past is now shadowing his present, fueling undue assumptions and hearsay that undermines his transformation and dedicated community service. It is disheartening that the system seems more focused on digging up past missteps than recognizing the person he has honorably become. Troy does not need to be confined; he needs continued support to contribute positively to his community and his family the way he has been doing.

It is imperative that the court considers all factors of Troy’s life, including his significant personal growth, and acknowledges his contribution to society despite his overwhelming personal difficulties. It's time to counteract the negative assumptions and hearsay with facts and personal testament of Troy's transformation and dedication. We believe in the power of recovery, the strength of second chances, and the critical role of community support.

Please join me in advocating for my brother, Troy Garcia. Help us ensure he is seen for his growth, his resilience, and his dedication to serving others. Sign this petition to plea for a fair judgement that acknowledges Troy’s transformative journey and his valued contribution to the community.
