Dear Dr. Yunus: 

The people of this country have placed their faith in you to undertake the monumental task of rebuilding our nation. We are deeply grateful for your willingness to rise to this challenge. Our hope is that you will steadfastly lead us on a path of equality and justice for all—principles that form the very foundation of our country, principles for which we have sacrificed time and again.

As we strive towards this shared vision, we urge you and your government to ensure that Bangladesh moves forward decisively. We cannot afford to repeat the mistakes of the past 53 years.

While it is crucial to engage with all political parties for the sake of unity, we must not regress and allow those tainted by corruption and anarchy to regain power. The people will not tolerate any individual affiliated with the any political bias in the interim government. Now is the time to rebuild our nation, and this can only be achieved through an APOLITICAL interim government comprised of the brightest minds in the country. We do not believe a corruption free system can be achieved by the same people who themselves have engaged in corruption over the last decades. To conduct a truly free and fair election, we urge you to establish an interim government devoid of any prior prejudices or ties to the existing political parties.

We, the people of Bangladesh, have just reclaimed OUR country with a non-discriminatory movement and we will not stand for anything else moving forward.
