While we don't feel bad that taxpayers are not going to be on the hook for hundreds of thousands of dollars to Roseville based developer Conkey, it is interesting to hear that Costco's decision to pull out of the DeWiit center and now re-enter negotiations with the county was just a "sham" to shake off the lawsuits that were filed by the city and businesses against the big box hungry Supervisors. Please join us in letting the Supervisors know once again that the DeWitt Center site simply cannot support a Costco! There is already a Walmart Supercenter and Smart&Final approved and set to be built within just a mile or so of the DeWitt Center. Already bad traffic will come to a standstill on Hwy. 49 and local roads if this is approved.
