I write this plea as someone whose life was significantly altered by Former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte's administration. I was once lost in the clutches of drug addiction, but it was through his determined campaign that I found myself in a rehabilitation center, on the path to recovery. This personal transformation wouldn't have been probable without Duterte's stern approach to the drug menace pervading our society.

Duterte, known for his hardline stance against drugs, contributed significantly to rehabilitating drug addicts across the country during his term from 2016 to 2022. Under his administration, we saw the enforcement of drug-related laws that led to thousands of people being rehabilitated - a testament to Duterte's commitment to a healthier Philippines.

Unfortunately, Duterte's dedication to our nation's wellness has come under scrutiny and has led to his unjust detainment. This petition aims to rectify this injustice.
