Fellow Pioneer Canyon owners,
We have successfully gathered enough signatures to force a recall vote. This is an important milestone, but it isn't over yet. Our next step is to hold a meeting and vote to recall the board. To be successful and unambiguous, we would like to have a majority of all owners participate in the vote either in person or by proxy. This will make it clear that we want to move forward with new leadership to address the ongoing roofing issues, as well as other matters before the board.
Summarizing the next steps:
- Proxy Forms - It is important that we collect votes for the majority of the association. If you are unable or unsure if you will attend the Special Meeting to vote to recall and elect a new board, please fill out a proxy. Unlike the general meeting where we only need to achieve a quorum (34%), here we are seeking to achieve a Majority of Owners. Several of us will be going door-to-door to assist in the proxy gathering process.
- Special Meeting on May 29th - This meeting will be to recall the current board and elect a new board. Proxies will be tallied and assigned, we will hold a vote to recall, and elect a new board. You will be able to attend the May 29th @ 5PM Special Meeting in person or via Zoom.
- Board Transfer - Following the election, we will initiate the transfer of board membership with Invest West to the new directors.
