On approximately August 21-22, a text message was sent out of state by the abuser to threaten some of my friends to give up where I am at. Again, the order is supposed to protect me and per the law, should be handled in Arizona. The officer had a hard time figuring out the story. He tried and that’s fair. He said the prosecution never talks to us and I said, “they stated the same about your team.” He said I should file where I’m at. I referenced the jurisdiction of the law. It’s Arizona. I’m not a lawyer. I’m not a deputy. Making laws educational to the county is not my job nor do I have to relive the trauma. The officer asked when I was coming back. I advised when justice was served and I was safe as the county won’t keep me safe. Crickets. This is the 2+2 game that makes it easy for abusers to get away with DV in Pinal County. #stopdvinazc
