Thank you for your support tomorrow is the big day with the board. In a show of support for Wingnuts please show up en-mass to show the board we need to be heard. We found out today that in order to avoid going through basic county HR requirements the board will be hiring a consultant as an airport manager. This goes around normal procedures to hire a county employee. We have also heard that the board intends to jack up fuel prices and hangar rents significantly.
If the board does up fuel prices which they believe will be a gold mine in income I would recommend everyone use Foreflight and find better sources for fuel, essentially boycotting the board. I will keep everyone posted as to the events of tomorrow that cannot make it to the meeting. However it would be amazing and a hell of a show of support if we can get as many of you out to support Wingnuts.
For those of you that are residents of the county I would recommend you also contact your local representatives and let them know your feeling most will not care as they support the board doing as they please.
