In light of the recent news surrounding the guidelines to move forward with high school sports,  I feel that something has been overlooked..... the kids. Yes, they will have a season,  and ultimately that's most important, however, we have forgotten about moral. We've forgotten about what Friday night lights is all about..a family in a sense.  We've forgotten about pride.. pride the athlete feels when he's done something great and everyone is watching and also pride the parents feel in showing up to watch their favorite athlete.  This pandemic has forced us all to sacrifice so much... please join me in seeing that the coming together for a sporting event isn't just another sacrifice. Perhaps we can look into a presale for these events. Another option may include limiting the number of attendees per athlete per game. While I understand that the decision to not allow spectators was a difficult one to make,  I am forced to ask the question "Have we explored ALL feasible options and is this the very best that we can give our athletes and their families?"
