RELEASE "KA ANGEL MANALO" et al - JUSTICE DELAYED , JUSTICE DENIED
Le problème
Requesting the Office of the President, Department of Justice, Court of Appeals, Supreme Court, Senate and the House of Congress (Philippines) in due respect to release Ka Angel Manalo and his companions, granting them the right to post bails in their fabricated cases.
On March 2, 2017, Iglesia ni Cristo members who are in the Philippine National Police and are Barangay Officials and high ranking Police Officials raided #36 Tandang Sora, Quezon City. They forcefully took the residents, Ka Angel Manalo and his family, Ka Lottie Hemedez and her family together with their companions (more or less 32 persons including women and children) in custody without any Warrant of Arrest or Search Warrants. They barged in while pointing guns to Ka Angel and his companions. Afraid of whatever violence, they were forced to go with them.
They were brought first to Camp Karingal and stayed there for several days. Ka Angel, together with his nephew and another companion were brought to Camp Bagong Diwa. Visitors are not allowed to visit them hence if someone wanted to visit them the BJMP will ask the permission of the Iglesia Ni Cristo Legal Department first.
The saddest part is, volunteers who brought their personal needs were murdered. (Missing ex-INC members) Since the hierarchy of the Iglesia ni Cristo are powerful because of the bloc voting system, politicians and law makers are afraid of going against the leadership. The massive corruption inside the church is the reason why they put Ka Angel Manalo in jail to stop them from exposing the illegal activities going on inside the church. This is why seeking justice using the corrupted judicial system in the Philippines is futile for them.
All of us, who are vocal about the corruptions inside the church are facing fabricated cases, threatening us and even our families in order to silence us about the corruptions circulating in our country.
With different "sarsuelas" in court proceedings, delaying justice is denying their/our human rights. Ka Angel and his companions are victims, not criminals. Those who threw them in jail are responsible to answer their wicked actions.
While, as of August 21, 2019, the Philippine government (through its Department of Justice) granted parole to ex-Mayor Antonio Sanchez, a rapist-murderer whom is serving 7 terms of Reclusion Perpetua (40 years each term). Besides him,10,000 inmates as per RA 10592 - (an act amending articles 29, 94, 97, 98 and 99 of act 3815 as amended otherwise known as the revised penal code.)
If RA 10592 is applicable to ex-mayor Antonio Sanchez, who is a rapist, murderer and druglord needed to served more than 360 years in jail, it is deem proper to dismiss the fabricated cases filed against Ka Angel Manalo and his companions. The Court of Appeals must act on it without any discrimination.
There shouldn't be excuses in delaying justice for Ka Angel Manalo, et al. Justice must be served.
Cops drive Manalo siblings out of Iglesia compound
Police recover weaponry inside INC compound, but who's liable?
