We, the undersigned, live in Prince George’s County in or near the City of Hyattsville.

We oppose re-locating Hyattsville Middle School to the area currently known as Magruder Park and/or the adjacent forest land abutting 38th Avenue. Massively reducing park space and wildlife habitat would be a huge loss for everyone. The park option should be taken off the table, and a better location should be found.

Schools vs. Parks is a false choice for our community and especially our kids!

We need both!

Nosotros, los abajo firmantes, vivimos en Prince George's County adentro o cerca de la ciudad de Hyattsville.

Nosotros nos oponemos al traslado del Hyattsville Middle School a la zona actualmente conocida como Magruder Park y/o el bosque adyacente de la Avenida 38th.  Reduciendo extremadamente el área del parque y del hábitat silvestre sería una gran pérdida para todos.  La opción del parque debería ser descartada y una zona mejor localizada.

Escoger una escuela sobre un parque es una solución errónea para nuestra comunidad y especialmente para nuestros niños. 

¡Ambas son necesarias!
