You are invited to a community celebration of the cultural, social, and natural importance of Magruder Park!

When:   Saturday, October 19, 2019

Where:  Large pavilion at Magruder Park,

             3911 Hamilton St, Hyattsville, MD 20781

Time:     1:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Rain or shine, PHP will fire up a grill to cook hot dogs and veggie dogs for the first 100 guests. If you want to grill something special, bring it along! Bring also a dish, snack, dessert, or beverage to share with your neighbors and new friends. We’ll supply paper plates, water, and napkins, but consider bringing your own reusable plates, cups, and utensils so we can be “green.”

Activities include:

• Musical performances
• Bird watching and identification walk
• Plant and tree identification walk
• Crafts and games for children
• Pick-up games of volleyball, basketball, soccer, frisbee, and softball
