Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Thank you all for signing the petition, and for all your comments. This is certainly an issue with deep support in our community and we need to make sure that the city council hear's our voice.

There is a widespread assumption on the City Council and among other powerful people involved in this decision that the people of Hyattsville will just sit back and let our park be taken away. We have gathered almost 370 supporters on this petition already, but we need to do more to make sure that we don't lose our park.

There are two ways in which you and I can make our views heard today:

[1] Show up in person at 7pm at City Hall. 
There is a public comment period from 7:10 to 7:20pm, and anyone can make comments of up to 2 minutes. City Hall is at 4310 Gallatin Street.

[2] Post a comment on SpeakUpHVL. 
If you can't make it in person you can leave an eComment that will be entered into the minutes of the meeting. Here is a link to the eComments page.
