As you may know, a few months ago, Christian denomination worked together to ask Mark Latham to submit a bill to ban any discussion of gender diversity in NSW classrooms, to support Freedom of Religion in our country and to preserve the true teachings of our Lord Jesus.
Parramatta Diocese lodge a strong objection against Mark Latham’s bill. The faithful of Parramatta is asking for Bishop Long and Greg Whitby to resign for teaching heresy to the Catholic Schools.
This morning, Fr John Rizzo sent this email to Bishop Vincent Long. It's very important that everyone sees it as they need to complain as well and support Fr.Rizzo. Please pass it on to as many contacts as you can.
" Dear Bishop Vincent, I hope that you are doing well. I am forwarding you today’s article from the Sydney Morning Herald regarding the “split” between the Archdiocese of Sydney and the Diocese of Parramatta over Mark Latham introducing an anti-trans Education Bill. If the contents of this article and the quotes of Greg Whitby are accurate, than I kindly ask you to resign as the Bishop of Parramatta. Your stance regarding homosexuality is at odds with the teachings of the Catholic Church. Your zealous approach at “inclusivity” towards the LGBTIQ Community is very confusing to Catholics wanting to be faithful to the Church. Enough is enough Bishop. I’m praying for your conversion and the salvation of your soul. In the meantime please consider leaving the Diocese and allow for a Catholic bishop to replace you. Formal Canon Law Petition to Rome was submitted:
Furthermore, A formal Canon law petition was sent to Rome to ask for the removal of Bp Vincent Long and Christopher de Souza for sponsoring, teaching and disseminating LGBIT materials within Parramatta Diocese schools, at St Patrick’s Cathedral, and the whole diocese including test implementation of the LGBIT, Pantheistic and Atheism doctrines in Catholic Schools within Parramatta Diocese.
