Hi everyone,
Thank you for signing the petition to save Kaimhill Library. It's great to see we have secured more than 560 signatures in just one week - demonstrating strong support to retain the library in Garthdee.
This petition will close on Sunday (26 March) so that it can be handed in to Aberdeen City Council the following day alongside the five other petitions to save libraries across the city. Kaimhill Library is due to close for the last time on Thursday, 30 March.
In addition, the organisers of each of the library petitions (Ferryhill, Cults, Cornhill, Kaimhill, Northfield, and Woodside) have joined forces to organise a family-friendly "Save Aberdeen Libraries" demonstration outside Marischal College on Broad Street, Aberdeen at 2.30pm on Saturday, 25 March.
Everyone is welcome to attend, we'd like to see as large a crowd as possible. It would be great to see you there.
