Yesterday the Lake City Police Department responded to a call resulting in the arrest of Sylvester Warren (son of Sylvester Warren III) for possession of drugs and a firearm in the commission of a felony. Instead of being the good role model one would expect from a person who promised as much in his letter to gain early release from federal probation, Warren III recorded the incident and allowed without correction, his son and others present to blatantly disrespect law enforcement recorded not even once in an unprofessional manner.
This behavior cannot be condoned and can never be part of the behavior displayed by public officials. Stop the spread of home-grown terrorism, the extortion, and its threat to our democracy. This man is not eligible to hold public appointed office and his efforts to do so do not grow from a love of this community but instead a desire to control our democracy.
