Petition to Remove David Eby as Premier of British Columbia

Petition to Remove David Eby as Premier of British Columbia
The Issue
Petition to Remove David Eby as Premier of British Columbia
To: The Legislative Assembly of British Columbia
We, the undersigned residents of British Columbia, urgently call for the removal of David Eby from the office of Premier of British Columbia due to his failure to address the critical issues affecting the well-being of low-income individuals and the broader public. Under his leadership, the province has continued to struggle with an unaffordable cost of living, reductions in financial assistance for those most in need, and ineffective policies that do not improve the lives of British Columbians.
Reasons for This Petition:
Rising Cost of Living: The affordability crisis continues to worsen, disproportionately affecting low-income individuals who are unable to meet basic needs such as housing, food, and transportation.
BC Climate Action Tax Credit Cuts: The government has eliminated crucial financial relief for low-income individuals by axing the BC Climate Action Tax Credit, which previously provided assistance to those struggling to make ends meet.
Lack of Support for People with Disabilities (PWD): There has been no meaningful increase in support for individuals on PWD assistance, leaving many vulnerable people without adequate financial aid.
Misallocation of Public Funds: The government has prioritized controversial policies such as the free supply of drugs without addressing the root causes of addiction, mental health crises, and homelessness.
Our Demand:
We demand the immediate removal of David Eby from the position of Premier and the appointment of a leader who will take decisive action to support low-income individuals, restore necessary financial aid programs, and implement policies that prioritize the well-being of all British Columbians.
We urge the Legislative Assembly to take immediate action to restore public confidence in the leadership of British Columbia.
