Do you want to see what Wish could've been with an evil royal power couple and Starboy? Well maybe we can get this to happen if Disney are on board! Sign this petition and tweet #Wishcutremake if you want to spread word to them that there is demand for it. Please be respectful. I'm not hating on Disney here, just asking for this to maybe be entertained as a concept. Please be peaceful about it. Thanks for your time.

Dear fans of Disney and anyone interested in signing this petition,

Do you like the idea of a shapeshifting star boy and a villainous power couple? Well Disney almost made a truly awesome movie featuring those two things and more for their 100th anniversary! Equipped with a ton of references to their past works and the like (probably) this movie, the original idea for Wish, would've been extremely cool, in my opinion at least. There are multiple deleted scenes available on YouTube to watch and get a taste for yourself of how this could've been. No hate to the one that was released, but I prefer the original concept astronomically more. If you want to (strong maybe) convince Disney to release this cut version then please sign this petition. I'm not asking for any money or anything (idk how this site works) but just some support. Also the hashtag #Wishcutremake on social media platforms could help push the idea to Disney! I'm a teenager who watched a lot of Disney movies growing up and I'm a massive fan. I don't want any of y'all to harass anyone, just respectively promote the idea around. Don't force anyone or like protest. Just respectfully spread the concept of them making a remake around.

What would it be about?

While I don't work at Disney so I don't really know much about what this cut remake would include, in the deleted scenes Starboy, the evil King Magnifico and Queen Amaya were present as opposed to Star and just Magnifico. Starboy can also shapeshift and that makes for very awesome references! :)

There's a lot of the plot of the cut version (some things stay I suppose or were incorporated into the final version) outlined on YouTube if you're interested in seeing what it could be. I'm thinking that it could be something like that, with their original vision made into a real movie or collection of scenes. I'd love to see it in 2D as a homage to earlier Disney films, but I suppose they could make 3D work. 

Why would Disney want to make it?

Disney could obviously still keep the Wish we have released. That way they make all their money from the movie that was released and they get to make the plushies of Star etcetera, but we also get to see what the cut version of the movie would and could be like! For Disney, an idea this awesome would probably be a guaranteed hit, a win-win. Like a director's cut of sorts. People do director's cuts all the time and usually it's pretty good fan service. They can even sell merch for the cut version and make plushies of Starboy, do whatever they want with it! The fandom would go crazy for many of the characters for sure. More profit! There's an opportunity for money, bliss and inspired children, parents with nostalgia towards the movies it would have references to! It's perfect for everyone.

They already have some deleted scenes, scripts or at least an outline of the OG plan, all they'd need to do is hire some people who can really suit the tone of the OG story and set everything in motion. I understand it would be sort-of difficult and obviously making a movie isn't easy but come on , if we don't at least try to get this cut version of the movie out there then where would the cool 100th anniversary power couple and Starboy etcetera be? Just a concept, forever lost to time... or not.

I know they could remake this better. A lot of you people probably know it too. I'm not hating on the Wish that we got, but I'm thinking that if there's enough demand and people requesting it (obviously respectfully and politely -- not a full on rebellion or something lol) then they'll give it to us for the money, merch and fan service. Even if it's just a few scenes or shorter! Having something is better than wishing. They could even make sequels or something, idk. I just don't see why people are just accepting that it could 'never happen' -- "we could've had it" "we almost had it" "what it could've been" -- maybe it still can be made! If not then at least we tried?

 Of course I'm upset we were deprived of this too, but why can't we make loads of social media posts and stuff to persuade them? Sorry if I'm out of line here but I'm just so passionate about the possibility of Wish (the cut version) and in love with the story. It feels so fitting narratively and with the conflict between Starboy and Magnifico, the parallels between Magnifico and Amaya and Starboy and Asha, the evil couple, all of it. There are so many more benefits with the dynamics, the feel and the references too. Maybe it's just my 'Wish' (get it) but it would be a dream to see this version on screen. Nobody's probably going to read this and it's too long to get most people on board probably but to whoever's interesting, promote #Wishcutremake into social media sites or whatever. Let's see what we can do. :)
