Thank you for signing this petition in support of pickleball courts at Memorial Field. After attending the Recreation Committee meeting in May, we sent the updated petition with about 150 signatures to the Mayor and all Council members on August 15, 2025. To date, none of our elected officials have responded. 

We reiterated the increasing popularity of pickleball and its long-term benefits to the community. In addition, we highlighted that not only would there be no additional cost relative to the current master plan, but pickleball courts could bring in revenue to the borough. 

Interestingly, based on a recent article in the Pascack Press, it appears that a private donor is funding a new playground at Memorial Field.
