Burke Meeting Update

Hello, 

A quick update re: our meeting last week with the CEO of Burke. Overall, he was receptive to our concerns and appeared willing to work with the neighborhood. We discussed the history of the NRT sign, traffic study conducted by City back in 2019, and no vote from CC. In the end, we asked for Burke’s support for the reinstallation of the NRT sign 7:30am to 9am.

The CEO was surprised at the number of vehicles turning right into Burke in a 1 hour period and commented that the NRT sign seems like an easy solution, as opposed to moving the entrance, which is not a consideration by Burke or the City.
